Deepak Agrotech

If you find the Indian Petrol Pump in Bachrapondi, you are pretty much at our doorstep. Deepak Agrotech is tucked away in this part of Koria district. It’s a rural spot, surrounded by fields and a few small houses. We spend our days talking to farmers and looking at what they need for their crops. The village life is slow but the work at the shop is steady. We keep a lot of supplies in the back, mostly things that help the local guys get their planting done. It’s a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up off the dirt roads. We don’t wear suits or have big desks. Usually, it's just us in our work clothes, moving bags around or checking the stock. People stop by on their tractors all the time. Sometimes they just want to chat about the weather or how the harvest is looking this year. We know whose well is running dry and whose kids are starting school. Being near the petrol pump means we see almost everyone who passes through. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the folks in Bachrapondi have what they need to keep their farms going. It’s a small operation, run by local people who understand the soil and the seasons. It might not look like much from the road, but it is home to us.
