Swathi Cements

Our shop is located at 951/54/1 in Vetapalem. If you have spent any time around here, you know it gets pretty dusty. That is just the nature of selling cement. Swathi Cements is basically a big warehouse space where we keep the bags stacked high. It is heavy work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in a fine grey powder. We do not have an air-conditioned office or anything. It is just a desk near the main shutter where we keep the ledger. The trucks come in early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we spend the first few hours of the day unloading. Vetapalem is a growing spot, so there is always some construction going on nearby. We have had this spot for a bit, and we know most of the drivers who come through. Sometimes the rain makes things tricky because we have to make sure every bag stays bone dry. We use heavy tarps for that. It is not a glamorous job, but someone has to supply the materials for the local builders. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the traffic settles. There is not much to say about us other than we work hard and keep our stock ready. We do not do much advertising because most people just find us by driving past or hearing about our location from a neighbor. It is a practical business for practical people.
