Wala Walkar Hospital

Our hospital is situated in Sawarde. It is right there at the post, so everyone in the village knows where to find us. It is a decent-sized building for this area. When you come inside, there is a big hallway that leads to the different wards. The floor is made of that hard tile that makes a lot of noise when people walk fast. We have beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for those just waiting to see a doctor. The air usually smells a bit like soap and medicine. It is a quiet place most of the time, except when the morning shift starts and everyone is moving around. We have a lot of local families who have been coming here for years. The windows look out onto the local greenery, which is nice during the rainy season. The furniture is practical and nothing fancy. We have a small desk for admissions and a few benches outside for people to sit in the shade. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have fans going in all the rooms. The staff mostly lives around here, so we all know the shortcuts to get to work. It is a simple hospital doing what it can for the people in Sawarde. We keep the records in big metal cabinets and try to keep everything organized despite the daily rush.
