Group Omkar L Datta

We are located in Village Pagmala, which is right near the Chiplun railway station in Ratnagiri district. Group Omkar L Datta is just the name we use for our operations here. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains going by all the time. It’s a familiar sound to us now. The village is quiet otherwise. We do a bit of everything depending on what's needed in the local area. Taluka Chiplun is a nice place, though it gets very wet during the monsoon season. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a big city setup. We know the people around here and they know us. Most of our days are spent coordinating with people from the village or those coming off the trains. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. If you need to find us, you just ask someone at the station or walk down the main path in Pagmala. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly small-scale things. It’s a humble setup. We don’t have any fancy signs out front. Just a small board so people know they’re in the right place. We value the relationships we have with our neighbors. It’s about getting through the day and making sure everything is handled properly. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time and plan to stay for much longer. It works for us.
