Mahato And Co.

Mahato And Co. is situated in Naldanga, which is part of the Narayanpur area. Our post office and police station are over in Chinsurah, in the Hooghly district. It is a bit of a traditional area and we have been operating here for a long time. The building we are in has a lot of history, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down on the Hooghly plains. We do things the old-fashioned way mostly, relying on hard work and knowing our customers by name. The commute out to Chinsurah can be a bit long for some, but we like the quiet of Narayanpur. We have a lot of crates and equipment that we have to maintain, and someone is always busy fixing something that broke. It is a practical environment, no carpets or air conditioning, just fans and open windows. We spend a lot of time on the floor, checking the quality of what we are doing and making sure the orders are right. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the roads around Naldanga a bit muddy and difficult to navigate, but we manage to keep things moving regardless. We are proud of the work we do here, even if it is just a small operation in a corner of Hooghly. It is our livelihood and we take it seriously, working together as a small team to get through the daily pile of tasks.
