Sejal Electronics

We operate Sejal Electronics out of Flat No. 37-C in the Sir Gavain Apartment, which is over in Premlok Park, Chinchwad. It’s a bit different than having a shop on a main road, but it works for us. Most of our neighbors know that we do electronics work here, so they often bring their broken remotes or small appliances up to the flat. The living room is mostly taken over by workbenches and soldering stations. We have wires and components sitting in little plastic bins all over the place. It’s not the most organized setup, but we know where everything is. Chinchwad is a nice place to live and work, and being in an apartment means we don't have the same noise as a bazaar, though the doorbell rings quite a bit. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses at tiny parts. Sometimes people just call us for advice on what electronic items to buy or why their equipment is making a weird sound. We try to help out when we can. It’s a small, family-style setup, so things are pretty relaxed around here. We don't have set hours like a big mall store might have; we just work until the jobs for the day are finished. It’s quiet, mostly just the sound of the soldering iron heating up or a fan humming in the corner. We like the pace of it and being part of the Premlok Park community.
