You can find us behind Sukhawani Heritage, right on the Akurdi Pradhikaran Road in Akurdi. It is a bit tucked away, so some people miss the turn the first time they come looking for Anand Al & Gl Solutions. Our shop is usually filled with the sound of saws cutting through aluminum frames or the clinking of glass panes being moved around. There is always a layer of fine silver dust on the workbenches from all the metalwork we do. I usually have tea in the morning while looking at the day's sketches for window frames or shop fronts. It is not a clean office job; my hands are usually pretty rough and sometimes I get small nicks from the glass edges. We don't have a huge fancy setup, just the tools we need and a lot of patience for getting the measurements right. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken window and they are in a big rush, so we have to drop everything to help them. The traffic outside on the road can get pretty loud during rush hour, but we just get used to it over time. It’s just me and the guys working through the pile of orders we have. We try to get things done properly but sometimes things take longer than we thought they would because of the materials. That’s just how it goes with this kind of building work and we deal with it.
