You can find our office at the Chowtra Centre. Since it is a central spot in the middle of town, there is always something happening right outside our windows. We have a workspace filled with large drawing tables and big rolls of paper tucked into every corner. It gets pretty cluttered with pencils, rulers, and various blueprints spread out everywhere. We spend most of our hours leaning over these tables, trying to figure out the best way for things to be built. It involves a lot of sketching, erasing, and then starting over when something doesn't look quite right. The natural light from the windows is good for most of the day, which helps us see the small details on the drawings. When people come in to see us, we usually have to clear off a space on a desk just so they have a place to put their things. It is not a fancy studio with expensive furniture or decor. We use some old wooden stools and shelves that are starting to bend under the weight of all our files. We know the local shopkeepers nearby and often pick up a snack from one of the stalls downstairs during our lunch break. Being at the Chowtra Centre makes it easy for people to find us without needing a map. We just focus on our drawings and try to get everything finished on time.
