We are located at 178/2 on Shegunasi Road, out here in Khavatkoppa. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, but that’s just how it is for this kind of business. The road out here can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially after the heavy rains. We have a fair amount of land here to store everything we need. Most of the day is spent outside, either checking the stock or helping the workers load up the trailers. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except when the big trucks are idling by the gate. We don't have any fancy computers or anything; we mostly write everything down in the big ledgers we’ve used for years. It works well enough for us. Sometimes we sit out front on the plastic chairs when there’s a lull in the work. You can see the fields from here, and it’s a nice view when the wind blows. The dust is a constant thing, but we don't mind it much anymore. People around Khavatkoppa know where we are, so we don't need a lot of directions. We just try to be fair with everyone who comes through the gate. It’s a basic life, just moving goods and making sure we have enough for the next day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out until it comes back, usually talking with the neighbors or just watching the road.
