H K G N Granite & Tiles

Our place, H K G N Granite & Tiles, is found at 6183 on Gochani Road. It’s a bit of a dusty street and we fit right in with all the granite and tiles we have piled up. We spend our days shifting heavy boxes of tiles from one side of the room to the other. Granite slabs are even heavier so we have to be careful when we move those around the shop floor. The Gochani Road area has a lot of small businesses like ours and you can usually hear someone hammering or a truck unloading something nearby. We don’t have much room for anything other than the stock so the office part is just a tiny corner with a table and a couple of chairs. The floor is almost always covered in a thin layer of grit no matter how many times we sweep it out. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or bathrooms and we show them what we have on the racks. It’s a lot of physical labor and our hands stay pretty rough from handling the stone all day long. We just keep the shop open and wait for the regulars to stop by or for a new shipment to arrive. It’s a simple way to spend the day, just working with the materials and staying busy on Gochani Road. There isn't much to it, just keeping the inventory straight and dealing with the heat.
