Winchester Bean Enterprises Private Limited

It gets pretty quiet out here in Chikkamagaluru, but that’s how we like it at Winchester Bean. We spend most of our days at Radha Kishan Estate. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. Some days the weather is on our side and other days it’s just rain and mud. We deal with beans, mostly. There isn't much to say other than we keep busy with the sorting and making sure things are moving along like they should. If you ever come down the road past the villa, you’ll see our gates. We aren't a big fancy operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us making sure the quality stays okay. Sometimes the coffee smell gets everywhere, even in our clothes. People in Kanathi know us well enough. We’ve been at this for a bit now. There's always paperwork to do in the small office, which none of us really enjoy, but it’s part of the trade. We just try to get the orders right and out the door on time. There's no secret to it, just waking up early and putting in the hours. The estate has its own rhythm, you know? It's not like the city where everything is rushed. We take things one day at a time here. It’s hard work, but it feels right when the trucks finally pull out and head off to the customers. We’re just folks who know their beans and stick to the routine.
