Sri Meghana

Sri Meghana is located at 52/17-9 in Hutta Colony, which is a part of Bhadravati. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to some of the bigger cities. Our shop is just a small space where we keep our stock and wait for customers from the colony to drop by. The building is a simple one-story structure and we have a small porch out front where we sit when things are slow. Inside, the shelves are made of wood and they are packed with different items we sell. We don't have a lot of help, so it’s usually just one or two of us doing everything from cleaning to keeping the accounts. Bhadravati can be quite hot, so the shade from the trees nearby is something we really appreciate in the summer. Sometimes the street gets a bit flooded when it rains heavily, and we have to put out sandbags. We don't have a computer or anything complicated; we just write everything down in a big ledger book. Most of the people who come here are our neighbors, so we spend a lot of time just chatting about local news and the weather. It’s a very basic way of doing business, but it suits us just fine. We aren't looking to expand or become a big chain; we are just happy to be here in Hutta Colony serving the people we know. It is a slow but steady life.
