Nitya Store

Nitya Store is a small place located right across from Bhadravati House. If you are getting fuel at the Hp Petrol Bunk, you have probably seen our front door. We have been running this shop for a good number of years now. It is just a simple retail store where we keep the things people need most. We have shelves for snacks, some basic medicines, and household items. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes the dust from the petrol bunk settles on the jars, so we are always wiping things down with a rag. The morning time is the busiest because of the commuters. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is really heavy, but we put a bucket under it and keep going. We know most of the people who live around here by their faces, even if we don't know all their names. It is not a corporate chain, just our own little business. We buy our stock from the main market twice a week. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop. If you need something quick, you just walk in and ask. We stay open until late evening most days of the week. It is a long day.
