Nayana Hospital

Nayana Hospital is located right on T K Road in the Shimoga district. We've been operating here in Shimoga for a while, serving the people who live nearby and those coming in from the smaller villages. It’s a general hospital setup, so we see all kinds of things walk through the door. From fever and coughs to more serious stuff that needs a bed for a few days. T K Road is a main stretch, so it’s easy for ambulances or families to find us when they are in a hurry. The building has different sections for different needs. It’s a busy place, and it can get loud in the hallways during visiting hours. We have nurses and staff who have been with us for years. They know the routine and they know the locals. We don't have all the shiny gadgets that big city hospitals have, but we have what’s necessary to take care of patients. Life at a hospital in Shimoga is never really quiet. There’s always someone needing something, whether it’s a bandage or some medicine. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people get seen. The floors are clean, the beds are ready, and we do our work. It’s a practical place for people in the district to come when they aren't feeling well. We've seen a lot of families grow up here over the years. Most of our nurses grew up in the district too. They know the families and the local stories.
