Mamata Homeo Clinic

Mamata Homeo Clinic is located in the Pushpagiri Complex, which is right across from the Shankar Saw Mill on K M Road in Chickmagalur. It’s a nice enough area, though you can hear the saw mill working sometimes during the day. We focus on homeopathy here, which is a bit different from the big general hospitals. People come to us when they want a different approach to their health problems. The clinic isn't very big. We have a small waiting room with a few chairs and a desk where I keep all the little bottles and records. It’s mostly just one or two of us working here at any given time. I spend a lot of my morning measuring out doses and talking to patients about how they’ve been feeling since their last visit. It’s a slow, quiet kind of work compared to other medical jobs. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming here for years. They like the fact that it’s a small, personal spot where they don't feel like just another number. The shelves are filled with books and jars, and there’s always a faint smell of herbs in the air. We don't do any big advertising. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth from their neighbors. It’s a simple, honest way to run a clinic, and we like it that way.
