We've been here on Bh Road for a while now. Most people know us because they hit a bad patch on Nh-206 and need their wheels looked at. It’s a dusty spot, but we keep the machines running. We spend most of the morning just getting the shop ready. My hands are usually covered in grease by ten. Chickamaglor roads can be tough on a car, especially after the rains. We see a lot of trucks and cars coming through Kador Taluk. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit outside. Other days, there’s a line of vehicles waiting for alignment. It isn't fancy work, but it needs doing. We have the basic equipment for balancing and fixing punctures. People stop by, have a quick chat while we work, and then they’re off again. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our customers are just people passing through or locals who know where we are located. The sun gets pretty hot in the afternoon here. Sometimes we close up for a bit if it's too much. Working with tyres is heavy stuff, so you get used to the physical part of it. We try to be fair with what we charge. It’s just us here, making sure the wheels are straight and the air is right. That’s pretty much the daily routine at the shop. The traffic on Nh-206 never really stops, so there is always noise from the trucks.
