04G Farmers Club Llp

Our group, 04G Farmers Club Llp, is way out in Huigere village. It’s in the Narasimharajapura area of Chickmagalur, Karnataka. We are based in Building No 183. If you know this part of the country, you know it’s all about the hills and the greenery. We aren’t in a city office. We are right there where the farming happens. It’s a club, so it’s about people coming together. We spend our time talking about crops and how things are growing. It can be a bit isolated out here compared to Bangalore, but we prefer it that way. The air is better and we are close to the land. Our building is a simple one, nothing like those glass towers. We have meetings there and keep our records. Sometimes the rain in Chickmagalur makes it hard to get around, but we are used to it. We aren't trying to sell anyone on some big dream. We are just farmers and people who care about the land working together. Most of us have lived in this district our whole lives. We know the soil and the seasons. It is hard work and sometimes the prices for crops aren't great, but we stick together. That’s why we have the club. It is just about helping each other out. We sit around, talk shop, and try to make things better for the next harvest. It's a simple life out here in Huigere and we like it.
