Our office for An Prakash Construction Project Management Consultants is over in Sidlaghatta, specifically at 155 1 Fort. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we usually just call ourselves the construction group. We do project management and consulting for various building works around the Chickbalapur district. Most of our time isn't even spent in the office. We are usually out at sites, looking at foundations or checking how the brickwork is coming along. When we are back at the office, it’s mostly to deal with the bills and the planning side of things. Syed Parveez Alam is the one who keeps everything moving around here. It can get pretty dusty and loud with all the development going on in this part of Karnataka. We don't have fancy brochures or a glossy website. People mostly find us through word of mouth or seeing our signs at construction sites. We've been doing this for quite some time now and we've seen the area change a lot. The work is hard and the hours can be long, especially when a project is behind schedule. We just try to keep things honest and make sure the buildings are solid. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s good to see something actually get built from the ground up because of our help. We’re just local people working in construction management.
