S M Enterprises

Our place is located at Gate No. 1317 in the Morewasti area of Chikhali. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside our doors. S M Enterprises is just a small setup, nothing like those big corporate factories you see in the city magazines. We mostly deal with local jobs and the day-to-day grind of running a small business. The floor is made of concrete and has plenty of cracks from years of moving heavy stuff around. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. As long as the lights work and the tools are where they belong, we’re happy. The air in Chikhali can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the equipment every morning. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes the gate gets stuck when it rains, and we have to give it a good kick to get it open. It’s those little things that make the place feel like home, I guess. We don’t have a website or any big signs, just the work we do. People find us because they live nearby or someone told them where Gate 1317 was. We eat our lunch together on a wooden bench in the back, talking about the weather or whatever is on the news. It’s just us doing our best every day.
