We’ve been down here on Chikhali Talawade Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Shelarwasti and there is always something going on at Gat No - 1567. Most days we are just buried in hydraulic pumps and pneumatic parts, trying to get things sorted for the folks who drop by. The workshop gets pretty loud and sometimes it feels like we spend half our lives cleaning up oil spills or looking for that one specific seal that rolled under a bench. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical space where we do the work. If you drive past, you’ll see the sign and probably hear the air compressors running. We handle a lot of different repairs and parts, mostly just whatever comes through the door that needs fixing. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different people show up at once with broken hoses, but we manage to get through it. The traffic on the road out front can be a nightmare during the evening rush, so we usually try to wrap things up before it gets too jammed. It’s a straightforward setup here. We know the machines and we know the local area. There aren’t many frills, just plenty of wrenches and greasy hands. We keep the shop open and just keep at it day after day. It’s a living and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place over the years. That’s pretty much us.
