Mahalakshmi Pharma

Our place, Mahalakshmi Pharma, is located in Sidlaghatta, right near the Old Hospital Road. Being near the hospital road means we see a lot of activity, though our specific spot is a bit more settled. The building is simple, and we try to keep things organized, even though the dust from the road always seems to find its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We started this because there was a need for a reliable pharma presence in this part of Sidlaghatta. Every day is pretty much the same routine. I come in, unlock the front, and start checking what came in the previous evening. We have a lot of local regulars who stop by, so a good part of the day is just chatting with people and helping them find what they are looking for. It’s not a high-tech operation; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper because it just feels more reliable to us. The stock changes quite a bit, so we are always moving boxes around to make room for new shipments of medicine. It can be a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives, but we manage to sort it out by the end of the day. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We don't put on any acts, we just run the shop and hope for the best.
