Shanum Garments

Shanum Garments is located at No. 46 D in the KIADB Industrial Area of Chickabalapura. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by factories and large sheds. It is not like a regular city street; there are big trucks moving around and a lot of dust. Our building is a standard industrial unit where we have our garment production set up. We have a lot of sewing machines and cutting tables spread across the floor. It is a functional place designed for work, not for looks. We have been here for a while, and we’re used to the routine of the industrial estate. There are usually sounds of whistles and machines from the neighboring units. The weather in Chickabalapura can be quite dry, so it gets dusty inside. We just focus on our daily production targets and making sure the garments are made right. There isn’t much around here in terms of shops or cafes, just other industries. We bring our own lunch and work through the day. The space at No. 46 D is where everything happens for us. It’s a plain and simple setup for making clothes. We don't have a front office with a receptionist, just the factory floor and a small corner for administrative things. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes in.
