Swanika Hospital

You can find us over at No 172 on Pollachi Road. We are right in the Karumbu Kadai area, which is pretty close to Ukkadam and Kunniyamuthur. Being on such a main road means we see a lot of different people coming through. The building is a standard size for this part of town. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of benches and the different rooms where the doctors sit. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that because we focus more on just getting the job done. The staff here works hard, often staying late if there’s a rush of people in the evening. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going as much as possible. We deal with a lot of regular health stuff, nothing too out of the ordinary. Sometimes a family will bring in three kids at once, and it gets a bit chaotic for a while. We try to keep the files in order, though the cabinets are getting pretty full lately. Most folks around here know us as the local hospital on the way to Ukkadam. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just rely on people telling their neighbors that we’re here. It’s just a normal part of the day for us, seeing patients and helping them get their medicine or whatever else they need. We’ve been at this spot on Pollachi Road for a few years now and it’s become our second home.
