Neshika Granite & Tiles Traders is located at number 95 on the Cuddalore to Chidambaram ECR Main Road. We are pretty easy to spot since we are right near the Bajaj showroom. This stretch of road sees a lot of travelers and heavy vehicles passing through every hour. Our yard is usually packed with crates of tiles and big slabs of granite leaning against the frames. It gets quite windy being so close to the coast, and sometimes the air carries a bit of salt. We spend the morning checking the stock and making sure the tile boxes haven't been damaged during transit. There is a lot of variety in the tiles we keep, so it takes a while to show a customer everything we have in the back. The Main Road is always noisy, which makes it hard to hear sometimes when the trucks go by. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting, as the granite pieces are quite massive. It’s a straightforward business where we mostly just focus on getting the stone in and out without any trouble. People often pull over on their way to Chidambaram to see what we have on display out front. It’s just a regular daily routine for us here at 95 ECR Main Road. We keep the gates open and wait for the next delivery to arrive, hoping the weather stays clear enough for us to work outside.
