Nectar Exim

Nectar Exim is on Kovil Street, right by the Pulikutti Vinayagar temple in Kizhapuliyur. It’s a very local neighborhood. We do a bit of everything with exports and imports. Our office is small. You can hear the temple bells throughout the day. It’s a peaceful spot, mostly. We have a lot of crates coming and going. Sometimes the street is too narrow for the big trucks, so we have to carry things by hand. It’s a lot of lifting. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums. The walls are white but they’re getting a bit yellow from the age. We keep all our records in big ledgers. It feels more real than typing on a screen all day. We deal with people from different places, which is interesting. Kizhapuliyur is a quiet town, so we stand out a bit with all the activity. We don't have any missions or big goals. We just want to get the goods from one place to another without any trouble. Sometimes things get stuck at the port, and then we have to spend all day on the phone. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing. That’s just the way the business works. We don't mind the long hours when things are busy. It’s just how we get by.
