Municipal Upper Primary School

Our school sits right on Amman Koil Street in Kunniyamuthur. We occupy numbers 11, 12, and 13 along the road. It’s a local spot in Coimbatore where many families have lived for generations. The school has been here for years, and it shows in the walls and the old desks we use. We deal with upper primary kids, so things are usually quite loud during the breaks. You can hear them running around from blocks away. We don't have fancy office furniture or shiny signs. Most of our time is spent just making sure the kids show up and the teachers have chalk and books. The building is simple, and we try to keep the courtyard clean, though it’s tough with so many feet moving through it. Living and working in Coimbatore, you get used to the routine. We open up early, sweep the floors, and get ready for the day. There isn't any big marketing team here. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the school running for the neighborhood children. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky pipe or paint over a scuff on the wall, but we manage. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. No one is putting on an act here. We just provide a place for kids to learn their basics nearby. It’s a real place with real people working hard every single morning and afternoon.
