Mangala Agro

Mangala Agro is over on Sannadhi Street at number 80. Chidambaram is a busy town, and our street sees a lot of people every day heading towards the temple or the market. We deal with agricultural stuff, mostly things that local farmers or people with small gardens might need. It’s a dusty kind of business, to be honest. We have sacks of supplies and tools stacked up against the walls. It isn't a clean, white-walled office where you'd wear a suit. It’s a working shop. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about their crops or how their gardens are doing this year. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the seasons change many times. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media person to post things. We just rely on people knowing we’re here and knowing we usually have what they need. Sometimes the shop gets crowded with supplies, and you have to watch your step as you walk through. We try to keep the most popular items near the front so they are easy to grab. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the farming community here. We don't make big claims about being the best in the business. We just try to have the right seeds or tools when the season hits.
