Kj Hospital

We are located at 56 A on the Palghat Main Road in Kuniamuthur. It’s a very busy road with lots of buses going towards Kerala. You can always hear the traffic and the horns from inside the building. The hospital is a simple structure that’s been here for years. We have a few wards and a reception area that stays pretty busy. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when it's hot outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is in its place. The staff here are a small group, and we all know each other well. Sometimes we have tea together in the back when there’s a quiet moment. We don't have any of those big digital screens or fancy lobby furniture. It’s just chairs and a desk for the nurse. People from around Kuniamuthur come to us for all sorts of things. We have a lot of stairs in the building, so we are always walking up and down. The paint on the walls is a bit old in some places, but we try to keep it looking decent. It’s a practical place for the neighborhood. Most of our day is spent handling the usual hospital tasks and talking to the families who come in. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we’re used to the noise and the busy atmosphere of the road.
