Bioceramics

You can find us at 7/64, Palakkad Main Road in Kuniamuthur. It is a busy stretch of road. We deal with ceramics and tiles and that sort of thing. The shop is full of boxes and displays. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. Ceramic is tricky because it breaks so easily. We are always telling people to be careful when they are browsing. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the boxes and the samples. We have a small desk where we do the billing. It’s usually covered in tile catalogs and scraps of paper. The fans keep the air moving, but it still gets warm in the afternoons. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some are building a whole house and others just need a few tiles to fix a bathroom leak. We treat them all the same. We don’t have a lot of fancy lights or a polished showroom floor. It’s more of a practical place. The traffic on Palakkad Road is constant, so there is always a hum of engines in the background. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on keeping the stock organized and making sure the deliveries go out on time. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like the local feel of the area. We’ve been here a good while and know the neighborhood well. It's just a regular local shop.
