A. K. R. Vegetables

A. K. R. Vegetables is a small place located over at 10 Tippu Nagar. We deal with fresh produce, which means our day usually starts way before the sun even comes up. It is usually pretty cold and dark when we first get to the shop to open up. We get the crates in from the trucks and start the process of sorting through everything. It can be a messy job sometimes with all the dirt from the fields, but that is just part of the work we do. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. We just have some wooden racks, scales, and a whole lot of green stuff. People from around the neighborhood stop by throughout the morning to see what we have brought in for the day. We don't have a big website or anyone to manage social media for us. We just write the daily prices on a chalkboard and talk to whoever walks in the door. Sometimes we run out of the popular things early, and other days we have way too much left over. That is just how the vegetable business goes. Tippu Nagar is a good place for us because people know exactly where to find us. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our regular customers by their first names. We aren't a big supermarket chain. We are just a local spot for greens. It is just hard, honest work that we do every single day.
