Electrical Technician

I work as an Electrical Technician here in Tarikere. My office is on Sandeep Lane, which is tucked behind Jagadish Times on the main BH Road. My name is linked to my father, Lokeshappa, and we’ve been part of this community in Chickmaglur for a long time. Being a technician in a place like this means you have to be ready for anything. I might spend one day fixing a pump in a field and the next day looking at the wiring in a small shop in town. Tarikere is a nice place to live and work, though the rains can be quite heavy during the monsoon season. I usually travel around on my old motorbike with my tools strapped to the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s practical and it helps people out when they are in a spot of trouble with their electricity. I don't have a big staff or a fancy office; it’s just me doing the work and keeping track of my own schedule. Sandeep Lane is a quiet spot, and I like having my base there where I can organize my gear and take a breather between jobs. I don't use any big marketing phrases or try to sound like a big company. I’m just a local person who knows how to fix electrical issues and is happy to help the neighbors around Tarikere and the rest of the district. It’s honest work and it keeps me connected to the people here.
