Candor International School

If you take the Koppa-Harapanhalli Road out towards Hullahalli, you’ll eventually find us. Candor International School is situated a bit away from the main town noise, which makes it a nice place to spend the day. The drive out here is actually quite pleasant, with more trees and open fields than you see back in the busy city center. The school building is relatively modern and clean, but we don’t try to be too showy about things. We have some gardens that we try to keep green and pretty, though the sun is very harsh in the summer months and makes it difficult. I usually get here quite early to open up the gates and check that everything is ready for the day. The classrooms are spacious and we have a library that the kids actually enjoy using during their free time. We aren't a huge team of people, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from fixing a leaky tap to helping organize the bus schedules in the afternoon. Most of the kids come from the nearby residential areas. We have a good amount of space for them to run around, which really helps them burn off their energy before class. The canteen is a popular spot for everyone; it’s where the staff hangs out to chat during the lunch break. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We’re just here to do a job.
