Our business, Acharya Sushrutha Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, is located way out in the Chickmagalore district. We are specifically in Sringeri, on Bharathi Street. It’s a beautiful part of the country, though it can be a bit isolated when the weather gets bad. Sringeri is a quiet town, and we like it that way. We focus on drugs and pharmaceuticals, mostly supplying the local area and some nearby towns. The building we work out of is quite old, like many on Bharathi Street, but it serves its purpose. We have high ceilings and lots of wooden shelves filled with supplies. It’s a very different vibe from the big city offices. Life moves a bit slower here. We know most of our customers by their first names. When we aren't filling orders, we’re usually chatting with the neighbors or watching the people walk by on their way to the local sights. It’s a small operation. We don't have a corporate structure or many departments. Everyone does a bit of everything, from sweeping the floor to managing the accounts. We take pride in just being a steady part of the Sringeri community. If you ever find yourself on Bharathi Street, you’ll see us there. We don't have a big neon sign, just a plain one that tells you who we are and what we do. It’s a simple life out here.
