Razas Hardware

You can find Razas Hardware at Shop No.3/52, right on State Highway 94 in Alipur. We are located near the Indian Oil Petrol Pump, which is a big landmark in this part of Taluk-Gauribidanur. Because we are on the highway, we see a lot of people passing through, not just locals from Alipur. The shop is filled with tools, pipes, paint, and all the little bits and pieces you need to keep a house or a farm running. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. The floor is concrete and often has some scratches from moving heavy metal parts around. We don't have a big staff, just family and maybe one helper when things get really busy. The noise from the highway is constant, with trucks and cars zooming by, so we have to speak up a bit when we’re talking to customers. We don't spend money on fancy uniforms or shiny signs. We would rather just have the right bolt or the right wrench when someone comes in looking for it. It’s a practical place for practical people. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next delivery truck, but we try to keep the basics always on hand. It’s a lot of work keeping it all straight, but it’s what we do every day. We usually sweep the front step every morning before the first car stops.
