M S Bricks

Bangalore has changed so much since we first started M S Bricks. It used to be a lot quieter on the outskirts, but now the traffic and the buildings are everywhere you look. We are tucked away in a spot where we can still manage to get the delivery trucks in and out without getting stuck in too much trouble. It is a very straightforward business, really. We make bricks and people buy them to build their homes or offices. There are no fancy meetings or corporate talk here in our yard. Usually, I am out in the dirt checking the piles or talking to the drivers about the roads. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years, and they know the daily routine better than anyone else. Sometimes the city feels like it is closing in on us, but we still have our own space to work. We don't do much in the way of marketing or advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have bought from us before or heard about the yard from a friend. It is a bit of a grind, especially during the monsoon when the mud gets everywhere and nothing wants to dry properly. But we manage to keep the supply going for our regulars. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to keep the yard running and make sure the orders are filled on time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
