Mekaster Engineering & Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is out at No. 2507 in the GIDC Estate. Panchmahals is a bit of a drive, and it’s very much an industrial setting. We have a large shed where we keep our equipment and do the heavy work. It’s a hot place in the summer, and the tin roof doesn’t help much. We have a small crew of people who know how to handle the machinery. Most of us live nearby or commute from the local towns. There’s not much to see here except for racks of steel and the big machines we use. We don't bother with fancy offices. Our desk is just a flat surface in the corner of the shop. We deal with lots of orders for industrial tools. Sometimes things get delayed because of supplies, but we try to stay on top of it. The road into the estate can be bumpy. We've complained about it, but nothing changes. We just drive slowly. We don't have any big slogans. We just get the work orders, check the specs, and start the machines. It’s honest work. When the shift ends, we usually sit outside for a bit before heading home. It's quiet once the engines stop. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows us in this part of the GIDC. We often share our tools with the unit next door when they're in a pinch.
