Maruti Techno Ceramic

Our place, Maruti Techno Ceramic, is over at Plot No. 68 in Baroj. We’re quite close to the Bhatiji Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us in Chhota Udaipur. Working with ceramics is a bit different than other industries. It involves a lot of heat and careful timing. We spend most of our days near the kilns or checking on the raw materials. It’s not the cleanest job in the world—there’s always a bit of clay or dust on everything, including our clothes. We don't mind it much. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed, even when we’re busy. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or expensive furniture. Our money goes into the equipment and making sure we have what we need to do the job. Chhota Udaipur is a nice place to work, and being near the temple gives the area a bit of a calm feeling, even when the workshop is noisy. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a bit, and we all just get along and do what needs to be done. We don't have any grand plans to take over the world. We just want to keep the workshop running smoothly and make sure the items we produce are what they’re supposed to be. It’s just honest, everyday work for us. Nothing more and nothing less than that.
