Aadarsh Floor Mill

We have been running Aadarsh Floor Mill out of No. 325- 327 in Mega Gidc Kharedi for a while now. It is a noisy place because the machines are always humming away, grinding whatever grain the local people bring in. The air usually smells like fresh wheat or corn depending on the day. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It's just a big open space with the heavy machinery and stacks of sacks waiting to be filled. The floor gets really dusty with white powder, and we spend a good amount of time cleaning up after the rush is over. Sometimes the heat in Kharedi gets to be a bit much, especially with the motors running all day, but we just open the big doors to let some air in. People find us easily enough in the GIDC section. We started this because we knew how to work the mills and it seemed like a good way to keep busy. It's just hard work and long hours, really. We don't use any big computers or complicated systems here, just the scales and the grinders. If you walk past our unit, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys covered in flour, just trying to get the last of the orders finished before the sun goes down. It's a simple life and we like the routine of it. We get our grain from local sources mostly and try to keep everything moving.
