Jigar Eye Hospital

Our hospital is sitting over at 1 Dwarkesh Chambers which is on the Vadodara Road in Halol. It’s a very easy spot to find because we are right near the bus station. You can hear the buses coming and going all day which keeps things feeling active around here. We mainly focus on eyes and helping people see a bit better which is what we’ve been doing for quite some time now. The building is one of those solid local structures that everyone recognizes when they pass by. Since we are near the transport hub we get people from all over the place not just from Halol itself. It can get a bit crowded in the waiting area especially on market days but nobody seems to mind the wait too much. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff or big posters. We just have our equipment and the chairs for patients. Being on Vadodara Road means there is always traffic and movement which we’ve grown used to. The staff here are locals who understand how things work in this part of Gujarat. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open up in the morning and see who needs help with their vision. It’s a simple life but it feels good to be part of the community here and provide a basic service that people actually need to get through their day and night.
