Avid Organic

Avid Organic is located out at S. N. 169 in Ghansar Muvadi. You have to take the Baska-Rameshara Road to get to us, which is part of the Halol Taluka in the Panchmahal district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main town, but we like it out here where things are a bit quieter. We focus on organic farming and the products that come from it. We aren't some big industrial factory; it is more of a hands-on operation. The land here is what we work with every day. We don't use those strong chemicals that some other places do because we prefer the old ways of doing things. It takes a lot more effort and the yield isn't always as high, but it feels right to us. The weather is our biggest boss, and if it doesn't rain when it should, we have a tough time. Our building is simple and serves its purpose for storage and packing. Sometimes the roads get muddy after a storm, making it hard for trucks to get in or out, so we just have to be patient. We have a few local people helping out on the farm and in the office. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to grow good stuff and sell it to people who care about where their food comes from. That’s pretty much our daily life here in the district.
