Western Coalfields Ltd. (Cil)

This branch of Western Coalfields Ltd. (CIL) is situated in the Chhindwara district, over in Parasia. We are specifically at C-12 in the Prasanna Vihar Colony, in a spot called Jhurrey. It’s quite a way out if you’re coming from the bigger cities, but for the mining work we do, it’s right where we need to be. The colony is a mix of workers and their families, so there is always something going on outside the office windows. We handle the local operations for the Coal India wing here. It’s a straightforward environment. We’ve got our maps on the walls and plenty of ledgers. The address 480441 is home to a lot of people who have spent their whole lives in the coal industry. We don't go in for anything fancy. Our office is just a practical space where we can meet and plan the next few weeks of work. The roads in Parasia can be a bit rough, especially when the heavy trucks are moving through, but you get used to the noise and the grit. We’ve been part of the Prasanna Vihar neighborhood for a long time. It’s a place where work and life kind of blend together. We just show up every day and do what’s required to keep the coal moving. There isn't any mystery to it. We just follow the schedules and make sure the reports are sent back to the main office on time.
