You can find Shri Sai Clinic over by Chhota Talab. Being near the pond is a good landmark because everyone in town knows where it is. The breeze off the water can be nice in the evenings, though it doesn't always reach inside the building. The clinic is a simple setup. We have a few chairs for the patients and a desk where we keep the records. It’s mostly handwritten files here, nothing too digital. We see a lot of regular families who have been coming to us for years. Some of the kids we used to see for checkups are now bringing their own children in. It’s a small community clinic, so we don't have a huge staff. Just a couple of us doing everything from cleaning to assisting the doctor. The floors are tile and easy to mop, which is good because people bring in a lot of dirt from the lakeside. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on a busy Monday. It’s an unpretentious place. No one is wearing expensive suits or trying to impress anyone. We just open the doors in the morning and wait to see who needs help. It’s a steady kind of job, and we like being near Chhota Talab because it feels like the heart of the area.
