Our shop is located in Ward Number 9 of Chandameta, right on the main Bazar Road. If you are walking along the street, we are not far from the Government School. Being near a school means our mornings always start with the sound of kids heading to class and local vendors setting up their carts for the day. Our shop is pretty packed from the floor to the ceiling with all kinds of hardware items. We have bins full of different sized nails, rows of hand tools, and stacks of pipes tucked in the back corner. It is a bit of a maze inside, but that is just how hardware stores are when you try to keep a bit of everything on hand. People from the town and the surrounding areas come to us for all sorts of things, whether it is a single bolt for a repair or a new shovel for their yard. We try to stock whatever people might need for their daily chores or home fixes. The building itself is a bit on the older side and the wooden shelves have some wear and tear, but they hold up the heavy stuff just fine. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in when it’s windy, so we are often wiping down the counters. It is a busy life here on Bazar Road, and we stay open from early morning until the sun starts to go down.
