You’ll find us on Khajri Road in Sinchai Colony. It’s a simple building that we’ve been running for quite some time now. We aren't a big luxury chain. We are just a local hotel where people stay when they are in Chhindwara for work or to see family. The rooms are basic but we keep them clean. We have a small staff of local people who help with the cleaning and the front desk. The area around Sinchai Colony is fairly quiet, which is what most of our guests like. We don't have a swimming pool or a huge gym. We just have beds, fans, and televisions. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb burns out, and we have to fix it right away. We spend our days checking people in and making sure there is enough tea and water for everyone. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is here. We don't have any fancy brochures with touched-up photos. What you see is what you get. We just try to be helpful when someone asks for directions or needs a taxi. It’s a lot of routine work, like changing sheets and washing floors. We enjoy meeting the different people who pass through. It’s a regular business and we just try to keep things running properly every day of the week. There is always something to fix or a room to tidy up.
