K R Stones

Our shop is at number 19 on Nagpur Road. K R Stones is right across from the District Court, so there is always a lot of movement outside. People are always parking their cars or walking by to get to their legal stuff. We opened up here because it seemed like a good spot where people could find us easily. We sell stones for all kinds of building work. It is a simple shop, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have samples of different rocks and tiles. Most of the heavy stuff is kept in the back or delivered straight from the yard. It is just a few of us working here. We spend the day helping customers who walk in, usually guys working on a house or local contractors. We do not use any fancy sales pitches. We just tell them what we have and how much it costs. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it is quiet and watch the traffic go by. The dust from the road gets inside sometimes, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It is just how it goes on Nagpur Road. We have been here long enough that most of the other shopkeepers know us by name. We are not trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to keep things running steady and help out the people in our town with the stone they need.
