Our place is at House No. 1494 in Ward No. 18. We are based in Teegaon, which is part of the Pandhurna area in Chhindwara. It’s more of a house than a big office building, which makes it feel a lot more personal for everyone. People just walk in like they are visiting a neighbor. We have a few tables set up and some old cupboards for the files. Since we are in Madhya Pradesh, the weather is usually what we talk about first when someone comes in. We’ve been here for a while and the community knows us pretty well. We don't have any flashy signs or bright lights. It's just a regular building on a regular street. Most of our work involves helping local people with their small savings and keeping their records safe. It’s a lot of writing things down and then typing them into the old computer we have in the corner. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just have a chat while we wait for the page to load. It isn't a fast-paced life here, and we like it that way. We know the families around here and they know us. If there's a festival or a wedding in the village, we usually hear about it before anyone else does. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, and it feels good to be part of the local scene in Teegaon. We stay until the sun goes down.
