Aakriti Gurh Udyog

Aakriti Gurh Udyog is tucked away in Isha Nagar Colony in Chhindwara. We are right near the Hanuman Mandir, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find our gate. We deal with gur, or jaggery as some call it. It is a traditional business, and we try to keep things as simple as possible. The place isn't very big, and it can get a bit messy with all the raw material coming in throughout the week. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since we started. We don't really do any advertising; people just hear about us through word of mouth in Chhindwara. Most days involve checking the consistency of the batches and making sure the storage area stays dry. Moisture is our biggest enemy here. We’ve had some tough times when the rain was too heavy, but we manage to keep things going. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for when the trucks arrive for loading. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk and a few chairs for visitors. Usually, we are out in the back where the actual work happens. We take pride in just being a local business that people can trust. It isn't about being famous; it’s just about providing something useful to the community and keeping the tradition alive.
