Jocm#1

We are based out of Rourkela, specifically in the Fertilizer Township area. Our door is C/3. It’s an interesting place to be because the township has its own quiet feel to it. Jocm#1 is what we call ourselves. The name is a bit unusual, but it works for us. Orissa can get quite hot in the summer, so we’ve made our space as comfortable as we can with what we have. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have some mismatched chairs and a lot of shelves filled with old binders and folders. We spend our hours going through records and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s quiet work for the most part, though the birds outside can be noisy sometimes. The neighbors are mostly families or other small operations like ours. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we’re usually too busy with the work itself. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby when we need a break. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families in the evening. The township is a good spot for us because it’s stable and we know the area well. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s just a normal, hardworking place where we try to stay organized and keep things moving.
