Our office is over at C-7, Pragti Nagar in the Dipka area, which is part of the Korba district in Chhattisgarh. South Eastern Coalfields Limited has a presence here to keep things running on the ground. It’s a busy industrial kind of area, so there is always a lot of dust and movement. We have a basic office setup that serves its purpose. It isn't a place for fancy meetings; it's a place where we keep track of the coalfield operations. We have a small team here and we all know each other pretty well. The humidity in Chhattisgarh can be a lot, but we have some fans to keep the air moving while we work. We don't have any polished slogans or marketing brochures laying around. Most of what we do involves looking at schedules and making sure the equipment is where it needs to be. It is hard work and it isn't always pretty. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. Being in Pragti Nagar means we are close to the action, which is necessary for what we do. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a big corporate image. We are just here to do our jobs and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It is a simple setup for a complicated industry.
