Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd.

Our Korba office is located in Ravishankar Shukla Nagar, specifically in the Niharika area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we operate out of an MIG1-207 unit. Nitesh Kumar Chourasia is the one usually managing things here for Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd. Korba is a huge hub for energy, so being here is pretty important for us. We handle a lot of the coordination between the local power plants and the main office. The house is converted into an office, so it has a very lived-in feel. It’s not corporate at all. We have a kitchen in the back and a small porch where we sometimes sit to talk about work. The Korba district is always bustling because of all the mining and energy workers around. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things. We just do the bookkeeping and make sure the logistics for the energy sector are moving. It can be a lot of repetitive work, but we find ways to make it through the day. We’ve been part of the Korba community for years. Everyone knows the company name, but they also know us as neighbors. We just try to keep things running without making any big fuss. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place where we just get things done. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by for a chat.
